The North Carolina Trout Growers Association (NCTGA) represents the interest of all trout farmers in western North Carolina. The trout farmers in western North Carolina cover a broad region, from north and east of Asheville to almost the eastern Tennessee state line. NCTGA acts as the watchdog for all state and federal issues, regulations, or proposals that could impact trout farming. A board of directors governs NCTGA and its members include most trout farmers in the state. The annual dues are $50.
