N.C. tomatoes on FDA's safe list
The U.S. Food and Drug Administration's investigation into a salmonellosis outbreak across the country has determined that tomatoes from North Carolina are not associated with the illnesses.
FDA recommends that
consumers eat certain types of tomatoes only if they are from North Carolina or other approved sources.
