Community Partners

The Ag Partners and Equine Partners programs provide transportation cost-share assistance to livestock and horse owners who purchase and ship full loads of hay from outside North Carolina. In communities across the state, civic groups, cattle clubs, churches and Cooperative Extension offices have expressed an interest in organizing loads for livestock and horse owners who may not need a full load.

The N.C. Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services encourages this cooperation to help meet the needs of our farmers and ranchers.
