HOW TO SELL AT THE MARKET
The Piedmont Triad Farmers Market provides a comfortable location for consumers and farmers to buy and sell fresh from the farm fruits, vegetables, plants, and other agricultural products. This is not a flea market and we take great pride in limiting items for sale to those that help support and sustain the farm community.
In order to sell in the farmers area of the market, growers may contact the market to make arrangements for a visit by one of our market staff, or their local county agricultural extension agent, who can make the visit for us. Whether you wish to sell a few extra tomatoes from your garden, or make your living producing wholesale volumes of produce, your farm items can be easily and quickly certified to be sold in this preferred selling area of the market.
Retail spaces measure approximately 12 1/2 ft. x 18 ft. with an additional 12 1/2 ft. x 26 ft. space for parking trucks and trailers.
Non-growers may also rent space to sell farm products in retail and wholesale quantities in other areas of the market, but it is recommended that they contact the market manager to determine the selling area, and space availability.
