AJ_PY010     Atlanta, GA.          Wed. Jan. 07, 2009              USDA Market News Broiler/Fryer:  Daily National Broiler Market at-a-Glance   Trade sentiment was irregular, ranging steady to fully steady in the West, at least steady in the East, but steady to weak in the Midwest. Retail and food service demand was slow to moderate, at times fairly good for retail ads and into some sports bars. Supplies of all sizes were mixed, but overall sufficient and obtainable for trade needs. Floor stocks were adequate. In the parts structure, movement was fair to moderate for mid-week trading. Tenders and wings were in the strongest position with supplies well cleared to tight and held with confidence. Breast items were at least adequate or available, and dark meat items were balanced to well cleared and moving satisfactorily. In production areas, live supplies were moderate at mixed, but mostly desirable weights.
