A top prize of $40, a second prize of $25, a third prize of $10 and a fourth prize of $5 will be offered in the decorated-pumpkin contest. Registration for this competition runs from 3-5 p.m. on Oct. 3 and from 7 a.m.-9 a.m. on Oct. 4. Entries may be carved, painted or both. Judging starts at 9:30 a.m. on Oct. 4.
