Agritourism Networking Association’s second annual
workshop set for Feb. 1 near Asheboro
RALEIGH – The N.C. Agritourism Networking Association will hold its second annual workshop Friday, Feb. 1, beginning at 8 a.m. at Caraway Conference Center near Asheboro.
The workshop will focus on topics of interest to agritourism farmers and owners of wineries and vineyards. Sessions will cover local zoning and tax issues; current trends in availability and cost of agritourism liability insurance; marketing and hospitality tips; Web site design; and agricultural estate transition planning.
Following lunch, three local agritourism operations – Caraway Alpacas, Toms Creek Farm and Nursery and Zimmerman Winery – will offer tours for conference participants.
Early-bird registration is $35 for ANA members, $40 for non-members. Deadline is Thursday, Dec. 27. Late registration is $45, and the deadline is Jan. 3. Overnight accommodations are available at the conference center.
