Agricultural Development and Farmland Preservation
Trust Fund Advisory Committee to meet May 6

RALEIGH – The Agricultural Development and Farmland Preservation Trust Fund Advisory Committee will conduct a business meeting at 1 p.m. Tuesday, May 6, at the Eaddy Agronomic Building, 4300 Reedy Creek Road. The meeting is open to the public.

The committee will continue its discussion and evaluation of applications for the 2008 grant cycle.

The ADFP Trust Fund Advisory Committee advises Agriculture Commissioner Steve Troxler on the prioritization and allocation of money from the trust fund, program planning, and other areas for the growth and development of family farms in North Carolina. Members include farmers and representatives of agricultural organizations, state agencies and universities. More information is available at www.ncadfp.org.
