State Farmers Market’s Spring Herb Days kick off April 11

WHAT:	The three-day event will showcase locally grown herbs and bring herb specialists and growers together to answer visitors’ questions. Vendors will offer free samples of herbal products, and will have crafts, books, gifts and body products for sale.
WHEN:	Friday, April 11, through Sunday, April 13 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
WHERE:	State Farmers Market 1201 Agriculture St. Exit 297 (Lake Wheeler Road) off Interstate 40
WHY:	This event offers visitors an opportunity to become more familiar with the herbs grown in the state and their many uses.
WHO:	Sponsors are the East Coast Community of Herbs and Organics, the State Farmers Market and the N.C. Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services.
