Biological Control Services

It is the mission of the Biological Control Program of the North Carolina Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services (NCDA&CS) to implement and maintain biological control programs to benefit the residents and the environment of the state of NC.
We are achieving this goal by targeting pests of regulatory significance and by the timely acquisition of needed personnel; our continued success will be, in part, dependent upon the cooperation and support of the administration of the NCDA&CS.
These services provided by the NCDA&CS include research and testing of possible biological control agents, collection and redistribution of safe and effective control agents, and public awareness.
