Plant Industry - Seed Section
The Seed Section assures farmers, gardeners and homeowners that seeds
offered for sale in North Carolina are truthfully labeled for identity,
contamination and viability and are adapted for use in this state. In this
section, you will find information on seed testing, the endophyte testing
program and field inspections.
This table charts the number of regulatory
seed samples, service seed samples, karnal bunt samples, tall fescue
endophyte, and other seed samples taken in North Carolina in 2007 and 2008.
